All pump components are manufactured in Germany. Third-party parts, in turn, come from leading German companies. We also guarantee fast and efficient service, and maintenance plans can always be adapted to the customer’s needs.
Zeilfelder’s history is full of pioneering innovations:
1924: Development and marketing of the first non-foaming transfer rotary piston pump for the soap industry.
1932: Patent for screw spindle and pump technology.
1936: Development of the first gear pump with special-tooth gears for high-viscosity liquids.
1939: First rotary piston pump for non-foaming recirculation in multi-stage body painting.
1940: The world’s first rotary piston pump for high-viscosity, non-lubricating substances, with temperature resistance up to 450 °C.
1946: Production of externally mounted electric oil heating jackets.
1964: Development of the first heated pump station with a front-mounted grinder and feed screw for lumpy substances.
1979: Delivery of the first mobile coating units for offshore pipeline installation.
1980: Production of a magnetic drive gear pump for the petrochemical industry, with system pressure up to 100 bar.
1984: Zeilfelder pumps were introduced for frozen, lumpy substances.
1985: Patent for a multiphase mixer for the food and chemical industries.
1986: Delivery of spinning pumps with special teeth for synthetic fibre production.
1986: Rotary piston meter for measuring volume flow of low and high-viscosity substances.
1987: Delivery of tantalum and iridium special gear pumps for the pharmaceutical and oil industries.
1990: Expansion of gear pump nominal widths up to DN 400 and DN 500.
1992: Construction of the world’s largest gear pump for heavy oil production, 5,000 m³/h, 300 rpm.
1996: Special models of rotary piston pumps for special applications in the food industry.
2000: Development of the world’s first mobile bottling unit for liquid detergents for supermarkets.
2003: Production of heated filters for the pharmaceutical industry.
2005: Manufacture of an automated compact frying oil cleaning unit with a special pump.
2008: Marketing of Zeilfelder pumps transferred to ASM-Dimatec, expansion of international business, and use of ASM Group services worldwide.
2009: Launch of the new T-Rex series of heavy-duty pumps for biogas plants.
2012: Opening of the new factory in Wolfsburg.
2012: Launch of the new ZH-i internal gear pump series.
