The Pliotron HD air filter provides mechanical filtration like a conventional air filter, but it also uses electrostatic filtration. This allows it to capture fine dust particles that would normally pass through standard mechanical filters.
The Pliotron filter can be washed hundreds of times, and after each cleaning it performs like new.
The filter frame is a 24 mm wide U-frame made of galvanized steel. On both sides of the cassette, there is an outer 12 mm galvanized steel wire mesh that supports the filter. On the intake side, beneath the support mesh, there is a 1.5 mm aluminum insect screen, followed by polypropylene fibers. On the outlet side, there is a synthetic fiber mat and an outer 12 mm galvanized steel mesh.
