A rubber seated gate valve is especially suitable for the needs of municipal engineering and industry, for both clean water and wastewater, as well as other non-aggressive neutral liquids. It is designed especially for shut-off use in pipelines. When open, the valve has a full-bore opening, which keeps pressure loss to a minimum. The valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically. The medium temperature should preferably not exceed +70 °C, although depending on the model version, temperature resistance of up to +110 °C can also be achieved.
As standard, a rubber seated gate valve is equipped with a handwheel, but models with an electric actuator, for example, are also available.
The installation of a rubber seated gate valve is designed to be as easy and flexible as possible. It can be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions, depending on the pipeline structure and space requirements. The full-bore design of the valve minimizes pressure loss when directing water flow is important, improving the efficiency and service life of the entire system.
When choosing a valve for municipal engineering and industrial use, the effects of the environment and the temperature of the medium must be taken into account. In the design of the rubber seated gate valve, the maximum medium temperature is approximately +70 to +80 °C, making it suitable for most systems where temperature is an important factor.
