In many applications, a plastic pump is at least as good as higher-grade pumps made from acid-resistant stainless steel. A plastic pump is suitable for similar applications as traditional shaft-sealed pumps made from acid-resistant stainless steel. However, the properties of plastics often allow them to last longer than acid-resistant stainless steel pumps. This is due to the better chemical resistance of plastics, and in certain processes, their improved wear resistance also plays a very important role.
The plastic pumps we offer are machined from solid plastic blanks, which gives the pumps significant material thickness.
