ARBO plastic pumps are designed for applications where challenging liquids need to be pumped. The KR and TK models are dimensionally compliant with the ISO 2858 standard, making them easy to replace with pumps from other manufacturers that follow the same standard. For example, an existing metal pump can be replaced with a plastic alternative.
A plastic pump is one of the best, if not the best, alternatives for replacing traditional metal pumps when the metal pump suffers from corrosion-related problems. The KR model is also available as a vertical KRV model.
KR, TK and KRV pumps are mechanically sealed centrifugal pumps and can be equipped with a single mechanical shaft seal or, if needed, a double mechanical shaft seal. In these pumps, the single mechanical shaft seal can be replaced with a double mechanical shaft seal without structural modifications. This can bring significant cost savings if processes or pumped media change in the future.
