The AFFETTI MSP series self-priming centrifugal pumps are generally designed for pumping different acids and strong alkaline liquids. The pump series is also available as a magnetic drive version, which is ideal when handling harmful or hazardous liquids.
The pump can suction from 4 m below the suction connection. Self-priming requires the pump casing to be filled with liquid once. After this, enough liquid remains in the pump after each use for the next start-up.
What kind of chemicals or strong alkaline liquids can this pump handle? In practice, the pump can be used for any substances that are chemically compatible with the pump materials. The pump material options are PP or PVDF. The O-rings are selected case by case from EPDM, FPM, FEP or FFKM materials.
