The MBM/MBMC/B/BC pumps are positive displacement gear pumps suitable for transferring lubricants and medium- to high-viscosity liquids. They are not suitable for liquids containing solids or abrasive substances.
They are self-priming pumps and suitable for a wide range of liquids with viscosities from 1 to 20,000 cSt. The rotational speed is always selected according to the viscosity of the pumped liquid. The flow rate range for this series is 5-800 l/min.
The basic component of the model is the B model pump, which is mounted on a base plate and driven by an electric motor. Power transmission is handled through a flexible coupling.
The standard pump material is a cast iron casing with carbon steel gears and shaft. A bronze version and an acid-resistant stainless steel version are also available. The shaft sealing of this pump model can be implemented in several different ways, for example with gland packing or a mechanical shaft seal.
