The diaphragms of diaphragm pumps are laminated and therefore durable, but they are still wearing parts. If a diaphragm fails, the pumped liquid can enter the pump’s compressed air system, and the pump should be stopped as quickly as possible.
This problem can be prevented simply and effectively by installing a DELLMECO diaphragm monitoring sensor (also suitable for ATEX environments).
