When filled with liquid, the pump also has limited self-priming capability. It is best suited for applications where a low NPSHR value is required from the pump. The magnetically driven SC MAG-M pump is an excellent choice for applications where preventing the pumped medium from escaping into the environment is critical. The pump combines features of both dynamic and positive displacement pumps. It can also handle liquids containing up to 40% gas.
