Supersand N is a powerful and portable submersible pump for construction sites. It is suitable for pumping sandy and muddy water and is most commonly used on construction sites for drainage and general water removal. The pump can also be installed in applications with abrasive liquids, as its impeller is made from highly wear-resistant material. The liquid flows between the motor housing and the outer casing, enabling the pump to operate even at very low liquid levels.
Water flow through the double pump casing prevents the motor from overheating, allowing the pump to run even when the water level is low. Models over 2.2 kW are equipped with a built-in agitator, which makes handling sludge-containing liquids easier. The pump casing is made from stainless steel (AISI 304). The multichannel impeller is made from wear-resistant cast iron and chrome, with a hardness of RC 60. The oil chamber contains a double mechanical seal made from silicon carbide. The pump motor is connected to a 20-meter H07RNF power cable. The motor is also equipped with automatically resetting motor protection. The pump has an IP68 protection rating and insulation class F.
The maximum submersion depth of this construction site pump is 30 meters. The temperature of the liquid being pumped may be up to 40 °C. The recommended pH value is 6 to 13. The motor power is sized to account for a maximum density of 1,100 kg/m³.
