The EMEC flow sensor is connected directly to the pump’s pressure connection or pressure pipeline. It measures the operation of the connected dosing pump and checks that the pump is working properly and that liquid is flowing through the pump.
The sensor is adjusted to a specific flow range and sends a signal if deviations occur. The sensor can be connected to EMEC dosing pumps where the pumping setting is continuous ON/OFF operation. The sensor is adjusted so that the sensor’s LED light flashes every time the pump completes one stroke. If the pump operation deviates from this setting, the flow sensor gives an alert and stops the pump.
