The GMP B and G pump series, in bronze versions, are self-priming pumps that are often mainly used for pumping seawater or other salty liquids. In general, all pumps in this series tolerate particles in liquids to some extent.
Thanks to its suction properties, the self-priming pump is suitable for many different applications. A typical use can be bilge water pumping. These pumps can also be used in applications where no special suction capability is required, as the pump is otherwise based on the principle of a traditional centrifugal pump.
However, they are mainly used in locations where the pump is installed as a dry-mounted unit and the required suction height is not very high. The pump’s maximum suction capacity is approximately 6 m.
