The GMP B and G pump series, in cast iron versions, are self-priming pumps suitable for pumping different neutral waters. The impeller design varies depending on the model. Some versions have slightly better head capacity, while others are better suited for handling dirty water.
In general, all pumps in this series tolerate particles in liquids to some extent. Thanks to its suction properties, the self-priming pump is suitable for many different applications. Typical uses include bilge water pumping or emptying floor drains.
These pumps can also be used in applications where no special suction capability is required, as the pump is otherwise based on the principle of a traditional centrifugal pump. However, they are mainly used in locations where the pump is installed as a dry-mounted unit and the required suction height is not very high. The pump’s maximum suction capacity is approximately 6 m.
An ATEX-approved self-priming model series is also available. Please contact our staff for more information.
