The SAER IR centrifugal pump is designed primarily for pumping different types of water, but when needed, it is also well suited for pumping very mild chemicals. SAER IR is a very compact model, as the motor is installed practically directly onto the pump casing.
IR is manufactured according to the EN 733 dimensional standard. This makes the pumps easy to replace with pumps from other manufacturers that follow the same standard.
The IR model has a very compact construction, which means the pump does not require alignment. This also provides more flexibility when choosing the installation location. The pump is equipped with an electric motor manufactured by the pump manufacturer.
The IR model is a mechanically sealed centrifugal pump and can only be equipped with a single mechanical shaft seal. However, the material options for the shaft seal are very extensive. The pump model itself also has a wide material range and is available in cast iron, acid-resistant stainless steel, bronze and Super Duplex.
