The M Pumps plastic-lined centrifugal pump is designed for applications where challenging liquids need to be pumped. The CL Seal-M model is manufactured according to ISO 2858 and ISO 5199 standards. This makes the pumps easy to replace with pumps from other manufacturers that follow the same standards.
For example, an existing metal pump can be replaced with a plastic-lined pump if a fully metallic option does not withstand the application. If the CL Seal-M pump needs to be converted to a magnetic drive pump in the future, this can be done by the same manufacturer with minor modifications.
The plastic-lined pump offers excellent chemical resistance in pumping applications, while the metal body provides strength against external stress. A plastic-lined pump is an excellent choice when the benefits of both plastic and metal pumps are needed.
The CL Seal-M is a mechanically sealed plastic-lined centrifugal pump and can be equipped with a single mechanical shaft seal or, if needed, a double mechanical shaft seal.
The wetted parts of the pump are PFA-lined or made of PTFE. The external parts of the pump body are painted cast iron.
